The up-and-down season for rookie New Orleans Saints returns specialist Deonte Harris continued into Week 7. Harris earned ire early against the Chicago Bears by fielding a kickoff that he should have fielded before it hit the turf, instead letting it bounce to him and erasing valuable yards. But he quickly turned things around with some crafty moves in traffic with 15 seconds left in the second quarter, knifing through the Bears coverage unit for a 67-yard touchdown.
But it wasn’t meant to be. Saints fullback Zach Line was fouled for holding, erasing Harris’s second career touchdown return and sending the team into halftime leading 12-10.
