METAIRIE, La. -- After they had time to absorb their second loss and study the tape, the mood in the New Orleans Saints' locker room Monday was pretty much the same as Sunday night: an equal mix of encouragement and frustration.
"This group, I’m telling you, and I said this to them -- there’s no sugar-coating a loss, but their effort and their want-to, all those things are in place," Saints coach Sean Payton said Monday after his team’s 16-13 loss to the New York Giants. "Now we’ve got to find a way to detail the specifics, and that starts with us as coaches.
