INDIANAPOLIS – In one of Sunday’s early surprises, the New Orleans Saints’ 32nd-ranked defense is dominating Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts with a 20-0 halftime lead.
Luck threw two interceptions – including one near the goal to cornerback Kyle Wilson that squandered a scoring chance just before halftime. He threw the other one to rookie linebacker Stephone Anthony in the first quarter.
Luck didn’t complete a pass in the first 20 minutes and finished the half 9-of-19 for 79 yards.
Another Saints rookie linebacker, Hau’oli Kikaha, forced a fumble on a kickoff return.
