Drew Brees doesn’t usually watch the Super Bowl when he’s not playing in the game. But the New Orleans Saints quarterback said he plans to make an exception this time.
Brees will be honored in a pregame ceremony along with all of the other living MVPs from the first 49 Super Bowls before Super Bowl 50 on Sunday. He told ESPN’s Russillo and Kanell that the MVPs also were invited to go up into a box to watch the game.
“I don’t usually do that. But this is one I want to see,” Brees said of the matchup between the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
