The New Orleans Saints, Zatarain’s and the USO Gulf Coast teamed up Sunday, Nov. 19,to support deployed military members with a care package event at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Saints legends Michael Lewis and Tyrone Hughes, along with mascots Sir Saint and Gumbo, helped fans pack 500 military care packages.
Each package included a taste of New Orleans, consisting of Zatarain’s Jambalaya Rice Mix, Seasoned Fish Fri, Dirty Rice Mix, Gumbo Base, Red Beans & Rice Mix, Honey Butter Cornbread Mix, Blackened Seasoning, Creole Seasoning, Crawfish, Shrimp & Crab Boil, Creole Mustard and a holiday card.
