Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Saints are working out veteran OLB Lamarr Houston on Tuesday.
This is the first reported interest in Houston since he became available.
Houston, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Raiders back in 2010. After four years in Oakland, the Bears signed Houston to a five-year, $35 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed.
The Bears placed Houston on injured reserve during the preseason and recently released him with an injury settlement.
It is worth mentioning that Houston landed on the team’s injured reserve in 2014 and 2016 with ACL injuries.
