The New Orleans Saints will be bringing in a veteran free agent familiar to fans on Tuesday, with running back Travaris Cadet working out for the team. Cadet’s scheduled visit was first reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and confirmed by Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Cadet has spent most of his career in New Orleans, appearing in 58 games over five years between 2012 and 2016 (he split time in 2015 with the Saints, New England Patriots, and San Francisco 49ers). Cadet also suited up for the Carolina Panthers and Buffalo Bills in his time since leaving the Saints, having filled the role of a passing-downs specialist for the black and gold.
