The New Orleans Saints went for broke in the 2018 season. They traded most of their top picks in the 2019 NFL Draft for assets to help out immediately, betting that a Super Bowl victory would be well worth the cost. But they came up just short of reaching the game, and now New Orleans must go back to the drawing board.
Because the Saints finished the regular season with a 13-3 record and did not exit the playoffs until the NFC championship game, they will wait until the 30th slot in each round of the draft to make their selections.
