The New Orleans Saints officially waived LB Adam Bighill on Monday.
The expectation is that Bighill will likely return to the team’s practice squad after clearing waivers.
Bighill, 28, wound up going undrafted out of Central Washington back in 2011 and eventually agreed to a deal with the BC Lions. He was a four-time All Star during his CFL career.
The Saints brought Bighill in a for a workout following last season and wound up signing future/reserve contract this past January. Unfortunately, the Saints cut him loose coming out of the preseason before adding him to their practice squad a few days later.
