The days are dwindling ahead of the divisional round rematch with the Minnesota Vikings. On Thursday, two members of the New Orleans Saints were not able to make it on the field during the team’s second day of practice.
Wide receiver Brandon Coleman was out again due to his neck injury, and linebacker Michael Mauti was declared out with an illness, per the team’s website.
The 6-foot-6 pass catcher seems to have injured himself sometime during the team’s win over the Carolina Panthers in last week’s wild card game. If he doesn’t return to practice in some capacity by Friday, he will be in serious danger of not playing against the Vikings.
