Bleacher Report’s Chris Roling put out a piece today, Jul 9, in which he names an undrafted rookie free agent from each of the 32 NFL teams who will make the final cut and be on that team’s 53-man roster. For the Saints, his choice was former Nebraska running back Devine Ozigbo.
It would be hard to argue the point except for the fact that the Saints had an exceptional haul from this year’s pool of undrafted rookies. WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR Emmanuel Butler, DE Carl Granderson, OLB Porter Gustin, DT Kenny Bigelow, WR Deonte Harris and, of course, RB Devine Ozigbo are all players who could and perhaps will make the active roster, if not in New Orleans then elsewhere.
