The New Orleans Saints are continuing in their search for depth at running back, having lost out on Alfred Morris when he reunited with the Dallas Cowboys. On Tuesday, the Saints brought free agent runner Robert Kelley into training camp on a tryout basis. Interestingly, Kelley was wearing the same jersey as Javorius Allen (No. 37), who has been absent for the first five practices.
Kelley is a New Orleans native who went to high school at O. Perry Walker and studied at Tulane University. The 6-foot-0, 229-pounder spent his first three years in the NFL with Washington before landing on injured reserve early last year with a toe injury.
