There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints improved their roster this offseason. By bringing in former 49ers’ No. 1 receiver Emmanuel Sanders, the Saints put the league on notice. But it didn’t stop there.
They added guard Cesar Ruiz, released Larry Warford, and made a few necessary re-signings. In the midst of all that, they added tight end, Adam Trautman, in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Along with Jared Cook (one of the best tight ends in the NFL) and Josh Hill, the Saints’ tight end room is loaded. However, at the right price, they should look to add David Njoku, an uber-athletic and young tight end on the trading block.
