New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis has been on IR since injuring his knee during a punt return against the Browns in Week 2. He returned to practice on Wednesday, Oct. 31, and could be back on the active roster as soon as Week 11 when the Saints play host to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The move to bring back Tommylee Lewis raises some interesting questions. His primary duty with the team has been kick and punt returns along with some occasional work as a receiver or in gadget plays while in that role. In his absence, Alvin Kamara has been handline punt returns and Taysom Hill has been fielding kickoffs.
