According to The Advocate’s Nick Underhill, the New Orleans Saints are working out cornerback Tharold Simon on Friday.
The 26-year-old LSU product has had some difficulty finding the field over his career after being the Seattle Seahawks fifth-round pick of 2013. Simon appeared in 10 games in 2014, and many might recall him filling in for Jeremy Lane in the Super Bowl against the Patriots. Unfortunately, he allowed two touchdowns in relief.
Simon dealt with a shoulder injury and ultimately landed on injured reserve the following season with a dislocated toe in early October.
