Joel A. Erickson of the Advocate reports that the Saints are expected to sign long snapper Thomas Gafford to a contract Thursday.
Gafford was among a group of free agents that tried out for the Saints this week.
Gafford, 34, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Houston back in 2006. Gafford bounced around with the Seahawks, Bears, Chiefs, and Raiders before joining the Broncos in November of last year.
In 2016, Gafford appeared in six games for the Broncos and recorded one tackle on special teams.
