Saints to sign DE Tanoh Kpassagnon for defensive line depth

The New Orleans Saints are finally making moves again. The Saints have reportedly reached an agreement to sign former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon on a two-year deal.

After losing Trey Hendrickson in free agency to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Saints were going to be in need of someone (or multiple someones) to pick up the snaps on defense. Players like Marcus Davenport and Carl Granderson would hopefully take on that role primarily, but now Kpassagnon can enter the fold as well.

Kpassagnon is a big boy, at 6’7 and 289 lbs, and he could be a rotational piece that could both play on the defensive end on running downs and possible shift to the interior of the defensive line in passing situations.
