New Orleans Saints left tackle Terron Armstead (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Armstead, who hasn't played since sustaining the injury in Week 2, offers optimism he could return to the lineup in time for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Saints could certainly use Armstead when considering Andrus Peat, who has filled in for Armstead, did not practice with a groin injury.
The other players to not practice are cornerback Delvin Breaux (fibula), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (quad), defensive tackle Nick Fairley (not injury related), defensive end Paul Kruger (back) and cornerback Sterling Moore (abdomen).
