Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. hasn’t been active for the Saints since Week 3 after which he was placed on injured reserve to take care of a lingering knee injury. Terron Armstead hasn’t played since suffering a torn pectoral muscle in Week 10. They both may play today when the Saints face off against the Steelers in Week 16.
The move to bring back Ted Ginn Jr. so quickly was a bit of a surprise as Sean Payton has been sandbagging a bit on his recovery. The general conception has been that Ginn would potentially be back for the first playoff game for the Saints in two to three weeks.
