The New Orleans Saints shuffled their practice squad on Friday, waiving recently-signed tight end Jerell Adams to make room for another tight end in Cole Wick. Adams joined the Saints just over two weeks ago after making previous stops with the New York Giants and Houston Texans.
Wick is a fourth-year pro with good size (listed at 6-foot-6, 257 pounds) who has bounced between one practice squad after the next, starting out with the Detroit Lions in 2016 before joining the San Francisco 49ers in 2017. He moved on to the Tennessee Titans in 2018 and was signed to the Oakland Raiders practice squad after roster cuts in 2019.
