The Saints released veteran cornerback Sterling Moore on Wednesday. The move was a little surprising. But with the depth the Saints have at the position perhaps it shouldn’t be. New Orleans scrambled to find depth at cornerback in 2016. But it’s now a position of strength in the Saints defense.
Even with the training camp injury to Delvin Breaux, the Saints have a strong group in the secondary. Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley are one of the best cornerback tandems in the league in 2017. Behind them, De’Vante Harris and P.J. Williams are reliable if not fantastic and Delvin Breaux will be back within the next two weeks.
