WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — New Orleans Saints linebacker Stephone Anthony made the move to strong side linebacker when the team signed James Laurinaitis this spring.
Anthony spent his rookie season with the Saints at middle linebacker where he tallied a team-high 112 tackles to go along with 2 forced fumbles, a sack and an interception.
The former first-round pick said the last time he played the SAM position was in high school but thinks the adjustment has gone well.
"I'm enjoying it," Anthony said. "It's fun to learn a new position and I'm trying to get better everyday.
