With injuries piling up at tight end, the New Orleans Saints gave two players expanded roles in Sunday's 31-19 win over the New York Jets.
Fullback Zach Line and tight end Garrett Griffin both played season highs in offensive snaps (21) and snap percentage (31 percent) in the win as coaches looked for to keep blocking-focused players on the field.
The Saints have been without tight end Coby Fleener since he suffered a season-ending concussion in the Week 12 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. For the most part, the offense has leaned more on tight ends Josh Hill and Michael Hoomanawanui since Fleener's injury.
