The New Orleans Saints reached an agreement with veteran cornerback Kayvon Webster on Monday, as first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN. Webster is on his fourth team in as many years following stops with the Houston Texans (2018), Los Angeles Rams (2017), and the Denver Broncos (whom he played for from 2013 to 2016). Webster was among a group of free agents the Saints worked out a week ago, which included former Pittsburgh Steelers starter Coty Sensabaugh.
Webster cut his teeth in the NFL as the dime corner in Wade Phillips’ Broncos defenses; he sat lower on the depth chart behind bigger names like Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr.
