The New Orleans Saints signed nine of their ten practice squad players to reserve/future contracts for the 2020 season, a standard transaction that simply guarantees each of them an early place on the 90-strong offseason roster. Now that New Orleans’ season is over, they’re already having to move quickly in the transition to offseason procedures.
Only one player from their 2019 practice squad was not carried over: offensive lineman Casey Dunn, who was brought in two weeks ago as a fill-in for rookie lineman John Leglue. Leglue was signed to the Green Bay Packers active roster, making an availability in New Orleans.
