For the third time this week, the New Orleans Saints signed a player from the Canadian Football League.
The biggest difference with Friday's transaction, though, is the newest addition has experience in the NFL.
Cornerback Anthony Gaitor, a seventh-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2011, signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints, according to the NFL transaction wire.
Gaitor, 28, spent 2016 with the BC Lions in the CFL, and joins linebacker Adam Bighill and safety Forrest Hightower as signings this week from the Canadian league. Gaitor had 35 tackles and two interceptions in 11 games last year.
