The New Orleans Saints officially signed C Chris Watt to a contract on Monday.
Watt, 26, was taken in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Chargers. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2,816,640 rookie contract before he was waived with a failed physical designation.
The Chargers placed Watt on the PUP list to open training camp and kept him on the list at the start of the regular season but was unfortunately waived in November of last year.
In 2015, Watt appeared in five games and played a total of 184 snaps for the Chargers.
