Saints scouts credentialed for Ole Miss-Alabama prime time game

The New Orleans Saints are going back to college, per NFL.com’s college football writer Chase Goodbread. The Saints will be represented by credentialed scouts Saturday night when the Ole Miss Rebels (Black Bears? Landsharks?) host the Alabama Crimson Tide on ESPN.

New Orleans’ scouts will not be alone. Goodbread also reports that the Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, and Jacksonville Jaguars will have scouts in the press box.

While it’s probably meaningless, this is the sixth time since 2016 (per my personal charting) that Saints scouts will catch a game in Oxford, MS and the fourth time they watch Alabama’s prospects live in action.
