They could use some more firepower, which was noted by Luke Easterling over at Draft Wire. Easterling’s latest two-round 2022 mock draft has New Orleans picking Texas A&M prospect Jalen Wydermyer, a big tight end listed at 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds.
He’s been an impact player for the Aggies in each of his first two years at College Station, posting 32 receptions for 447 yards as a freshman in 2019 (through 12 games) before leveling up with 46 catches for 506 receiving yards in 2020 (in just 10 games), grabbing a dozen touchdown passes along the way.
