The New Orleans Saints released an updated depth chart for the second week of the NFL preseason, in which they will travel to the West Coast for a week of joint practices with the Los Angeles Chargers; the Saints and Chargers will then kick off a nationally-broadcast preseason game on Aug. 18.
There aren’t many significant changes from the opening-week depth chart, but it’s worth noting that co-starters are still listed at center with the battle between Nick Easton and Erik McCoy not yet sorted. Additionally, returns specialist Marcus Sherels remains the listed starter for both punts and kickoffs despite missing about a week of training camp practices and the first preseason game itself.
