New Orleans continues to tinker with its roster as minicamp winds down. After bringing on DT Tony McDaniel and long snapper Thomas Gafford, the Saints released WR Dan Arnold and offensive lineman Cameron Lee, two 2017 undrafted free agents in corresponding moves.
Arnold originally made the team as a try-out player back in the beginning of June. A small-school prospect with good size (6-foot-5, 222 pounds), Arnold had impressed the team enough to be added to the roster, but injuries prevented him from doing much during OTAs and minicamp. As a bottom roster player, he fell victim to the churn as New Orleans cycles through players.
