The Saints have released runningback Terrance West, per multiple reports coming out this morning. New Orleans signed the veteran running back in June as they prepared for this season’s training camp and preseason battle to find the four game replacement for Mark Ingram.
West, who turned 27 in January, played in only five games with the Ravens in 2017 following a 2016 season that saw him see the field in every game. Since being drafted in the third round by the Cleveland Browns West has struggled to find consistent success managing only one season with 1,000 or more total yards on offense.
