Veteran offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus is back in New Orleans, according to the NFL’s Transaction Report on Friday. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates, and is reportedly a one-year deal. The Saints waived Jeromy Irwin on Thursday, which freed up a roster spot after giving him an $8,500 signing bonus and guaranteeing $15,000 of his base salary.
LeRibeus joined the Saints last offseason after spending his first several seasons with the Washington Redskins. He was active for all 16 games in 2017, logging 205 snaps for New Orleans.
