The New Orleans Saints’ initial 53-man roster is already undergoing changes. It already underwent revision with the release of linebacker Nate Stupar on Monday morning, following the signing of former New England Patriots running back Mike Gillislee.
More changes were reported Monday afternoon. While the Times-Picayune’s Josh Katzenstein first formally reported that the Saints had re-signed offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus after releasing him on Saturday, the Advocate’s Nick Underhill observed that LeRibeus had a locker and running back/fullback Trey Edmunds did not. Underhill later confirmed that Edmunds had been let go.
This isn’t a surprising move.
