The New Orleans Saints announced today that they have re-signed CB Sterling Moore and DE Darryl Tapp to one-year contracts. The announcements were made by Saints’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis.
Moore, 5-10 202, signed with New Orleans at the start of the 2016 regular season and appeared in 13 games with 12 starts, posting 55 tackles (47 solo), two interceptions, a team-leading 14 passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Over six NFL seasons, Moore has started 31-of-69 career games while accumulating 179 tackles, six interceptions, 39 passes defensed, seven forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries for the Patriots, Cowboys, Buccaneers and Saints.
