Saints fans shouldn’t feel bad if they had no idea who Taysom Hill was prior to Week 13’s game. They do now. A third-string quarterback was inexplicably made active prior to the game, leading many to wonder if there was a mystery injury to either Drew Brees or backup Chase Daniel. Neither was the case. Sean Payton was just preparing to unleash his special teams surprise.
Taysom was in on punt return and kick coverage, and promptly made two huge plays.
First, he came in like a ninja to disrupt a punt attempt.
