A couple of months ago, we were just getting into the process of covering the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft. There hadn’t been a free agency period yet. There hadn’t been a scouting combine. I hadn’t yet received my copy of Pro Football Focus’ 2019 NFL Draft Guide, plug. I started by taking primary needs into consideration, this was prior to Max Unger’s retirement. I looked where the Saints were picking at number 62 in the second round and tried to identify a player to target there who may be available and cover a need. That was the first draft profile I did for the 2019 NFL Draft back in late February.
