The New Orleans Saints are banged up on offense, and there’s no other way to put it. The team previously ruled out five players ahead of their NFC clash with the Chicago Bears up in Soldier Field on Sunday, which included Jared Cook (ankle), Alvin Kamara (ankle/knee), and Tre’Quan Smith (ankle). Now, they’ve turned to a somewhat familiar face from the practice squad to most likely play, Dan Arnold. The first mention of this came from ESPN’s Mike Triplett.
Arnold appeared in 10 games for the Saints last season, hauling in 12 receptions on 19 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown.
