Rob Crisp, an offensive lineman on the New Orleans Saints practice squad, played one full season in college under new LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
That was 2014, when Crisp was a fifth-year senior and Canada was in the second of his three seasons at North Carolina State.
It was during that season when Crisp found out how creative Canada can get with his play designs, at times putting his offensive tackles in unusual places on the field.
On one particular play, Canada had Crisp -- all 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds of him -- lined up in the slot receiver position, giving him hope that a pass could come his direction.
