The New Orleans Saints hit the practice field against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday after two days of rest, and did so at close to full strength. Many players who exited practices earlier in the week returned to action, though some did so in just limited roles. Others like cornerback Marshon Lattimore, wide receiver Keith Kirkwood, and tight end Garrett Griffin, who participated earlier in just a few non-contact drills or alone with team medical staff, were cleared to put on their pads and join practice.
Running back Alvin Kamara returned after two days of absence at practice, but he spent most of his time working individually with wide receiver Michael Thomas.
