The New Orleans Saints have played some very good football lately, and it all starts up front. Their offensive line is stocked with some of the league’s best players at their positions between left tackle Terron Armstead and right guard Larry Warford, each of whom rank inside the top-15 in average annual salary. Armstead and Warford were each chosen to go to last year’s Pro Bowl, though Armstead had to miss the trip while managing an injury.
However, some of their teammates haven’t enjoyed as bright of a spotlight. Rookie center Erik McCoy and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk simply haven’t been around long enough to gain the exposure and media attention of the unit’s established leaders, but they were each singled out as two of the NFL’s most-underrated players by Doug Farrar over at Touchdown Wire.
