From Nick Underhill at The Advocate: The Saints are using the preseason to find a set of best practices for the coaching staff during the season. During the first preseason game, the team had linebackers coach Joe Vitt on the sidelines and defensive assistant Dennis Allen up in the press box. During the second game, Allen came down to the sidelines and Vitt moved up to the box. It’s likely the team will continue moving people around this week against the Houston Texans to determine the best configuration. Those involved are open to trying out new things. “We actually switched around all our coaches,” Vitt said.
