From NOLA.com: One week after visiting with veteran tight end Jermaine Gresham, the Saints put in a waiver claim for Tim Wright, according to ESPN. Wright was waived by the Patriots last week. The Saints were one of 10 teams who put in a claim, however, the Buccaneers had higher priority. The Bucs picked Wright up as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and traded him to the Patriots, before reclaiming him off waivers. While the Saints didn't get Wright, it's likely they'll continue to explore all their options at the tight end position.
