It was clear in August the New Orleans Saints had big plans for rookie wide receiver Michael Thomas.
The second-round pick routinely made impressive plays in training camp and the preseason, and when coach Sean Payton recommended Thomas for fantasy football, it was obvious the rookie would have opportunities to contribute immediately.
Now 11 games into the season, Thomas leads all Saints players with 84 targets, 65 receptions, 789 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. In Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Rams, Thomas had game highs of nine catches, 108 yards and two touchdowns.
