METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas was held out of Wednesday’s practice because of a knee injury, and it’s unclear if he is dealing with anything significant.
Thomas appeared to finish Sunday’s game at Green Bay healthy. He was in attendance for the start of Wednesday’s practice during the portion open to the media but left before drills began.
Obviously Thomas’ status will mean a great deal to the Saints’ offense. The second-year pro has quickly established himself as their No. 1 receiver -- and he has been a focal point of opposing defenses all year.
