Saints' Mark Ingram misses second straight day of practice

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram (toe) officially did not practice for a second straight day.

Ingram was observed on the field Thursday during the stretching and conditioning portion of practice open to the media, but he left the area when the players went to individual position drills.

The Saints are likely to turn to Tim Hightower if Ingram is unavailable for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Left tackle Terron Armstead (knee, quad) and rookie running back Daniel Lasco (hamstring) also did not practice Thursday.

Armstead aggravated a knee injury in Week 12 and did not finish the game, while Lasco hasn't played since Week 8.
