The New Orleans Saints were without five players on the practice field Wednesday, as the team prepares to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14.
Running back Mark Ingram, rookie wide receiver Michael Thomas, center Max Unger, left tackle Terron Armstead and tight end Josh Hill were not observed on the field during the portion of practice open to the media.
Ingram missed two days of practice in Week 13 while dealing with a toe injury. He was able to play against the Detroit Lions, but left the game briefly in the second quarter.
