WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.VA. — New Orleans Saints left tackle Terron Armstead didn't participate in the team's first 10 practices of training camp at The Greenbrier, but when the team returns from joint practices with the New England Patriots, he should be good to go.
Coach Sean Payton said Monday the team plans to activate Armstead from the physically unable to perform list. Armstead won't participate in Thursday's preseason game against the Patriots at Gillette Stadium, but Payton said Armstead could do some individual drills during the joint practices the next two days in Foxborough, Mass.
