Saints look to expand air attack with Tre’Quan Smith, Cameron Meredith

Related Topics: Cameron Meredith

So far, in the 2018 Season, two receivers have accounted for 64-percent of the receiving yards for the Saints. When your quarterback is averaging 341 passing yards a game, it’s hard to quibble about how he gets there. But things aren’t that cut and dried in the Saints offense and the team will look to get rookie receiver Tre’Quan Smith and free agent addition Cameron Meredith more involved in Week 3 against the Falcons.

To date, Tre’Quan Smith has hauled in only one catch for 18 yards and Cameron Meredith has yet to see the field as he’s been on the mend from an injury last year with the Bears that kept him sidelined for all of 2017.
