High School to Division II Central Washington University to the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League to here, the precipice of an NFL roster, Bighill has lived the long shot life.
When Bighill joined the Saints four months ago, he was one of the longest shots to make the team on the roster. He wore jersey No. 99 and the tape across the front of his helmet identified his name in extra large capital letters: BIGHILL.
